The Theory: Toilet Paper Hooks Up Kenzo´s Summer Campaign

Updated: Nov 8, 2018

Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari are the innovative duo and bizarre image scientists behind the magazine, Toilet Paper. For the clothing company Kenzo’s Spring/Summer campaign, Toilet Paper was wisely chosen and the images are fantastically weird! Inspired by the primary KENZO Spring Summer themes for men and women, we are plunged into a fantasy world of giant fish, waves and mesmerizing marine elements.

Toilet Paper was founded in 2010 by Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari with the art direction of Micol Talso as a picture based magazine. Ever since the first issue of June 2010, Toilet Paper has created a world that displays ambiguous narratives and a troubling imagination. In the last three years, photos published on the magazine have moved beyond pages and been applied to a variety of products and media. Check out more from Toilet Paper and Kenzo
